Liminal-arts is a co-operative. We have a collaborative ethos where participants are joining in the communal activity of exhibiting their work.

Participants assist other participant artists and make the event a co-operative venture where all contributing artists are respected and valued, and their work promoted sensitively. We want to be able to meet with all contributing artists to hear your perspectives and ideas before the show and look forward to talking with you.

All participants are expected to attend the opening event and be prepared to welcome their friends and contacts to the show.

Venue
Hanbury Hall is a coworking space in and amongst the history and creative buzz of Brick Lane and Spitalfields. We are pleased to be able to occupy the space on the ground floor for our exhibition, if you are in the neighbourhood come and take a look.

Participation fee
Submission of artwork is free but successful submissions are required to pay a participation fee of £25 (per participant) to cover publicity, the opening refreshments, music and set up.

Commission
Liminal Arts will take a 10% commission on any work sold to contribute to the ongoing work of the co-operative.

All selected work must be available for the entire duration of the exhibition. Sold work will be made available for collection after the 15th June at the discretion of the artists and buyers.

Participants are responsible for liaising with potential buyers and arranging the purchasing of works themselves. Liminal arts will provide help and support but cannot act as agents at this point.

Members of Liminal arts will do all within their power to ensure the security and safety of art-work submitted. Hanbury hall is used as a joint working space in which members of the public come and work between the hours of 8:30am-6pm. The venue is staffed throughout these opening hours.
